Mosler Automotive has been building the
world's top performance cars since 1985. Mosler Automotive vehicles hold victories and records at events like
Mid-Ohio, Lime Rock, and Car and Driver's 'One Lap of America'.
Race car designs have led the way for road cars
like the original Consulier GTP, Intruder, Raptor and now the latest Mosler
Automotive stars, the MT900 and the TwinStar™.
MT900
The MT900 is Mosler Automotive's
latest ground-breaking new
supercar. Designed entirely in 'cyberspace' using Unigraphics Solutions software and
fabricated with tooling cut on a 5-axis mill.

Raptor

The innovative Raptor windshield became a
modification to the Intruder after it was demonstrated to decrease drag,
increase speed, and decrease lap times. The Raptor went on to win the
1997 One Lap of America and the 1999 One Lap as well, holding the
distinction of winning overall all three times it was entered. An all
new Raptor 2000 was completed for the 2000 One Lap but was not allowed
to officially enter. It was run in 3 events and again demonstrated its
superior performance.

Intruder

After exhausting the 100 Chrysler engines
originally purchased, Mosler Automotive's next engine purchase was
5 1993 Corvette LT1 packages. The engine was installed in an unfinished
GTP and mated to a Porsche 4 speed transaxle. The rear was reshaped to accommodate
a full width wing. The car was named the Intruder and entered in the 24
hours of Nelson ledges in June of 1993, where it won by a comfortable
margin with a stock engine that produced 300 hp. In 1994 it was again
entered in Nelson Ledges and again won, and then was forever banned from
that competition as well. A second Intruder was built for the street,
with the LT1 upgraded by John Lingenfelter to 450 hp. It was entered in
the Car and Driver One Lap of America in 1996 and won the competition
overall, demonstrating vastly superior performance over all of the other
entries. Shane Lewis entered a racing version of the Intruder in the
SCCA World Challenge Series in 1996, capturing 5 poles and 2 wins. The
car was never invited back in that series either. In 1999. Joao Barbosa
and Stephan Cottin entered the same Intruder decked out as a GT2 car and
brought home 2 pole positions, 2 lap records, and a victory.

Consulier
GTP

After dominating local SCCA races and winning
the 24 hours of Nelson Ledges in 1990, Mosler Automotive entered the
IMSA Supercar World with 4 silver Consulier Series II GTP's debuting at
Lime Rock in 1991 with pole position and a victory. At just 2100 lbs,
this 5 speed, 2.2 liter turbo with about 195 hp easily outpaced the
other, more powerful but heavier cars, including Hurley Haywood in a
factory Porsche Turbo, Boris Said in a Callaway Twin Turbo Corvette, Stu
Haynor in a Firebird, and Jim Minnaker in a factory ZR1 Corvette. It was
subsequently announced by IMSA that it was not in the best interests of
the series for Consulier to win at which time they added a 300 lb weight
penalty and finally banned the Consulier GTP from the series. The GTP
remains an exceptional sports car and can still outpace most of today's
production cars.
