Legendary Corvette racer Tommy Morrison and specialty car manufacturer Warren Mosler are now partners in the MT900 project. In addition, the MT900 Advisory Board includes David McLellan, formerly Chief Engineer at Corvette, Senior GM Engineer and racer John Heinricy, GM Senior Engineer Jim Minnaker, and former GM public relations specialist Ralph Kramer.

Tommy and Warren have known and respected each other for nearly 20 years, first meeting at Sebring in the early 80's. According to Warren, "When I saw Tommy at the introduction of the first MT900 at the Corvette Museum at Bowling Green he indicated in no uncertain terms he really liked this car and wanted to be involved. And I not only knew that not only would he be the best possible partner, but also that our chances of winning races went way up if he was on my side rather than racing against me!!!"

The dream of a mid engine Corvette began long ago. Dave McLellan oversaw various prototypes that never went into production as they would have been lower volume cars than front engine Corvettes. John Heinricy has raced both Corvettes and the MT900 experiencing first hand the way the same Z06 engine can rush a 2,000lb. mid engine, carbon fiber monocoque, Unigraphics design around a track.
