First of all, the question you pose is a valid one and could be tipped either way depending on the buyer.
The Apollo may be slightly faster in a straight line and may have more downforce. However, I would bet on the MT900 to be faster around a track simply because it is proven. The Apollo will attract more attention, though you will have a monopoly on attention with either car and I'd imagine the attention would be more positive driving the Mosler.
The Mosler will certainly be easier to drive everyday and easier to maintain. Parts would likely be cheaper, although I have no experience buying car parts in England, where I assume you live. The Mosler itself, is likely to be less expensive as well. Also, while the Gumpert will be near the edge of its tuning envelope, the engine in the Mosler isn't even trying at 400hp and plenty of aftermarket support exists.
